A Bishop Facing Mount Kenya chronicles the life of Bishop Obadiah Kariuki, a key figure in establishing the Anglican Diocese of Mount Kenya South. Born into Agikuyu tradition, he embraced Christianity and navigated the challenges of colonial suspicion and Mau Mau distrust. His faith was strengthened by the Fufuka revival of 1936, which played a pivotal role in shaping Kenya’s spiritual and historical landscape.
